THE MEDIA VOICE OF THE GLOBAL MARINA INDUSTRY

CROATIA: ACI celebrates 40 years

The Croatian ACI national chain of marinas participated again this year at Boot Dusseldorf, where it introduced its latest projects and services, the future ACI Marina Rijeka, and made it possible for boaters to book berths in advance at one of its 22 marinas in the Adriatic.

The focus of ACI’s participation at the world’s largest boat show was on celebrating 40 years of marina operation. Visitors had the opportunity to find out about ACI’s four decades of boating excellence in the Mediterranean and the many nautical steps forward it has taken in the course of its history, setting trends not only in the boating sector but also in top-level sport and sustainable business.
A celebratory get-together with partners and members of the press was hosted by Kristijan Pavic, president of the management board, who welcomed the famous Croatian Olympian and special guest Ivica Kostelic. Kostelic is one of the country’s most successful athletes; a winner of not only four Olympic medals for sailing but also the crystal globe and 26 Ski World Cup races.
“Marking the big 40th anniversary, I primarily want to thank all current and former employees of our company who have made ACI what it is today and, during the four decades of doing good business and pushing back the boundaries in our national boating industry, established it as the regional leader in the boating sector. Today, we focus on listening to the needs of boaters across the Adriatic. We also continue to extend our support to our ambassadors, high-level athletes, among whom is our sailing ace Ivica Kostelic.”
