UAE: D-Marin sells Business Bay Marina
D-Marin has sold its 157-berth Business Bay Marina in Dubai to private property development group Omniyat. D-Marin will continue to manage and operate the marina.
Omniyat values are said to clearly align with D-Marin’s, and focus on offering a one-of-a-kind premium experience with attention to detail. The company’s philosophy is to empower lifestyles by merging ultra-luxury with curated living, further contributing to the economic, aesthetic and cultural footprint of its surroundings.
All marina customers will continue to benefit from first-class customer service and very soon will also enjoy a range of D-Marin’s digital innovations. These include the Premium Marinas app, which allows customers to book berths in real time, make payments and complete check-in procedures remotely; and ‘smart pedestals’, digital control of energy consumption, payment and remote metering.
Annual berth holders also benefit from the Happy Berth Days initiative, offering up to 15 days of complimentary berthing at any D-Marin Dubai marina and seven days at any D-Marin marina globally.
Selcuk Balci, managing director D-Marin Dubai, said: “We are delighted to establish this partnership with Omniyat and continue operations at this truly unique venue. We believe Omniyat will ensure the marina is front and centre at one of Dubai’s most exclusive locations.”
