CYPRUS & GREECE East Med network formed
The operators of Ayia Napa, Rhodes, Symi and Kos marinas have formed the Eastern Mediterranean Marinas Network with a view to upgrading services and furthering the development of nautical tourism in the eastern Mediterranean region.
The MoU between the four parties was signed on 04 December at Ayia Napa in Cyprus and the process of signing concluded at a similar ceremony at the Athens Boat Show. Costas Fitiris, chief marina officer at Ayia Napa, commented: “It is only through collaboration and joint understanding that we can not only maintain the highest standards of the services that we provide to boaters but also take things to higher level, one that benefits both our clients and the two countries’ nautical sectors.”
