BAHAMAS: Government signs for Blue Water Cay
A Heads of Agreement was signed in May by Legendary Marina Resort at Blue Water Cay and the Government of the Bahamas for a multi-million dollar marina project at Blue Water Cay in New Providence island.

CURACAO:
Permits for marina developments
On 12 May, the Government of Curacao issued permits to Royal Holding Company II BV for the development of a marina in the Zakito area of the Dutch Caribbean island. The company will be able to construct a breakwater and a movable bridge in accordance with Curacao’s maritime management legislation and construction and housing regulations.

INDIA: Marina plans for Princess Dock
According to multiple sources, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has approved the development of a marina at Princess Dock in Mumbai Port. The project will be undertaken on a PPP basis with a concession period of 45 years. The move is expected to pave the way for marinas in other Indian ports, e.g. Cochin and New Mangalore. Leisure boats are often moored near the iconic Gateway of India in Mumbai but, although temporary infrastructure has been installed, nothing permanent has so far been developed.

Co Down marinaUSA: Long-awaited Preston plans firm up
Denison City Council, Denison, Texas has approved Preston Harbor, a residential and marina project on the shores of Lake Texoma. Craig International has been given approval to purchase a 3,100-acre plot and start the planning process. The project will comprise thousands of homes and a private marina.
